NGS members will be aware that each time a journal is published the electronic version has been made available on a new page on the website. Over the years this has naturally led to the accumulation of quite a large volume of single-use pages. Neither efficient, nor making the most of our wonderful asset – the NGS Journal.

For this reason we’ve undertaken the back-breaking task of bringing all of our published e-journals, dating back to Issue 1/20, onto one page. Introducing:

And from now on when we publish an e-journal it’ll be added to this page, making this a one-stop shop for any member who gets their journals electronically.
As at present you’ll continue to get a password by email for each new issue. And as you do currently, just copy it into the dialogue box…
…and then download the journal.

And to help you track down particular articles we’ve added an “on page” search… just type in what you’re looking for and if it’s been mentioned in a journal’s contents page it’ll show up in your search results.
What’s next
Apart from the Webmaster having a lie down in a darkened room to recover from pulling all of this together?
Consolidating all our journals onto one page allows us to remove a lot of redundant pages from the website. So, a bit of early “Spring cleaning” is now possible!
